You can't go wrong with this for a basic moisturizer for normal skin. It's got a 'smilie face' rating from Paula Begoun on Beautypedia.com (the Cosmetics Cop and author of 'Don't Go to the Cosmetics Counter without Me'). Also, the EWG rates this a top pick for beach/sport sunscreens, since it has good UVA and UVB protection and is very stable; and gets a 2 out of 10--where lower is better, with fewer harmful ingredients--for EWG's Cosmetics Safety database. Based on that, I felt pretty good in buying it initially and I wasn't disappointed. I use it as my moisturizer on my face and neck, and II disagree with the reviewer who contends that it looks white on and that it doesn't work under makeup. I find that it's one of the mineral sunscreens that's not be tacky, pasty or weird; and I find that it works fine under my mineral powder foundation. I have normal skin that's prone to breaking out monthly, and this doesn't exacerbate it the way other natural moisturizers or sunscreens have in the past. I wouldn't recommend using it as a stand-alone moisturizer for very dry skin, since it's light to medium in consistency. Last, it's a good amount and reasonably priced for a facial moisturizer, but I'm not sure that the size or price lend itself to being a full body sunscreen for an adult; I'd go with something cheaper and more plentiful for that purpose. All in all, a good health-conscious and price-conscious buy.

this is the only natural sunscreen product i have ever bought twice. It is not greasy and not white. It is a little hard to spread, but is good over the oil free grapefruit cream, or the revitalizing night cream(i use this for day in the winter or when my skin feels dry)it can also be applied by itself just apply to one area and spread then move to the next spot on your face.(versus applying all over)it is really great keeps my combination oily skin soft and virtually shine free.it also does not irritate eyes at all .soooooooo good must try and it lasts a good while too .worth the price
