So far so good
Was this helpful?
I have several skin issues along with melasma so I have to be very careful with ingredients in skin care products. I have stopped using anything with hydroquinone (both prescription and OTC) due to hydroquinone-induced rosacea. I have been using M2 12% and was happy for months but it seems to be in a plateau at this point. I also want to address the dryness from using M2. Have been using this product for a month and it seems to be doing well for my skin. For one, there is no redness or negative reaction. The melasma is still faintly there but realistically, I don't see it disappear completely. This product seems to be holding up pretty well against all others I have tried, considering the botanical ingredients. I examine my face on a daily basis and I see no new hyper pigmentation or brown spots. I gave it 4 stars because I have just been using it for a month. During the day I use a Replenix product with SPF45 which I can tolerate well also. With melasma and hyper pigmentation, one must be very vigilant and careful about sun exposure. No product can help if you continue to be exposed to the sun.
